Celebrate your heritage this mother’s and father’s day with a multi-generation portrait!  There is nothing more special to look back on than a photo of you and your child with your parent or grandparent.  This is an opportunity to capture the legacy of your family in a beautiful timeless piece of art you will have forever.

These sessions will take place at a beautiful outdoor location I have chosen on

Saturday, May 5th | 9am – 12pm

Saturday, June 9th | 9am – 12pm

Session Fee:  $89

Includes:
20 minute session for up to 4 people (each additional person is $15)
15-20 final images to choose from
An in person viewing & ordering appointment to be held about 2 weeks later
*Prints & products may be purchased separately

exciting announcement and special offer! | sacramento baby photography

We are so excited to announce that we are teaming up with Sondra, from Simplistic by Sondra, to create new images for her website! Sondra creates fun and unique knitted items for babies.  She does beautiful work and needs a way to show it off!  In order to create these photos, we are offering the first 10 people to respond to us a FREE photo shoot!  You may respond on Facebook, by email, or by phone to secure your spot.  Please see details below. 

 

To qualify: 

Your baby must be newborn – 8 months old during the month of June (that means if you are pregnant but due before June, you may still qualify).
All shoots are taking place in June, so you must be available to schedule your shoot during that time.
You must be willing to sign a model release giving Simplistic by Sondra and Crystal Jones Photography the right to use the images from your shoot for advertising and promotional purposes. 

You must be a fan of both Simplistic by Sondra and Crystal Jones Photography on Facebook. 

Once you have booked your shoot, we will not reschedule for any reason. If you cannot make it to your scheduled shoot, your spot will be forfeited.

You must schedule an in-person viewing and ordering appointment with Crystal Jones Photography in order to view and purchase your photos.  These appointments must be scheduled during the months of July and August.  You will receive 10% off of a la carte items at that time.  Packages will not be discounted any further.

It’s that time again!  The weather is changing, the leaves are about to start falling, and Punkin’ Patch Portraits are back!
Bring your little ones in for some adorable photos in their Halloween costume or their best Fall outfit.
You will be able to review and purchase your images right after your session so you receive all of your products before Halloween!
Your session will last about 20 minutes and ordering will take about 30 minutes.

back to school portraits | sacramento portrait photographer

You all know the boring school photos that your children bring home with them, right?  The ugly blue background, the fake smile, the torture.  I have a solution that will take these out of your life forever – never to be framed on your wall again.  Once a year, right before school starts, I offer back to school portraits to take the place of the photos your kids get at school.  The session is a quick 15 minutes and gives you a more interesting, more customized way to document the new school year.  Mason is home schooled and his mom had forgotten about school photos last year and didn’t want to be missing a photo of her son – so she brought him in for a quick session to capture his 12th year.  He is such a genuine, sweet person and I was so glad to meet him and capture such a natural, wonderful portrait of him.  If you don’t want to miss out on this opportunity next year, send me your email address and I will sign you up for my studio newsletter.  You’ll receive all of the latest updates and information about upcoming promotions.

heading up to washington!

April 14, 2010

Hi all!  I’m heading up to Washington to photograph a wedding in Seattle and then I’m going to Spokane for a short visit.  While I’m in Spokane I’ll be doing a day of mini sessions out in a beautiful field of tall grass.  The session lasts about 15 minutes and includes an 8×10, 8 wallets and a facebook file.  I’m really excited about this and I know the photos are going to be so cute.  I have tons of ideas!
